We are now open daily (Mon-Sun: 11am – 8pm).
As the store is now operated by a single staff during Phase 2, please try to avoid coming during lunch hour (1hr lunch, varies from 12:30pm – 2pm). Please call ahead if you are planning to come during lunchtime.

Services such as restringing and strap button installation may require you to leave your ukulele with us for a day or two due to staff shortage, we seek your understanding and patience during this period.


Covid-19 has affected all businesses badly. The lockdown (Circuit Breaker) forced us–especially small business owners–to rethink our business model, to quickly adapt and implement changes in order to survive the economic downturn.

Lowering cost and expenditure is an effective way to tighten one's belt. Consolidating retail, classroom, repair workshop and storage at one central location would enable us to operate on a smaller physical scale and schedule staff more effectively. The cost savings from operating a single shop would help to keep our staff working.

The health and safety of our staff and customers continue to be our major concerns. Moving to a location with less walk-in traffic would lessen the risk of contact from the casual passer-by.

Our new location will be an intimate retail space with wall to wall ukulele displays to accommodate our numerous models. A cosy duo-use classroom can accommodate one-to-one lessons and double up as a private demo room when no lessons are being conducted.

We will have a larger space for repairs and maintenance, and we have started to take in school projects to maintain and service their ukuleles. More info on this service will be provided later in another blog.


Shopping habits are evolving, we encourage all customers to shop online via our website, and only visit our physical retail store where absolutely necessary. The health of our customers and staff is of paramount importance to us, to minimise the contact is to minimise the risk.

Our online store is always open, 24/7, 365 days a year, and we are still offering free shipping to any local address in Singapore, no item too small.


We also request that customers be more understanding and patient during this period as our uke advisors (sales staff) will work individually to avoid any inter-mixing between employees. This will invariably result in longer wait times for services such as sales assistance, restringing, strap button or pickup installation, adjustments, setups, repairs, refurbishments etc. Hence we seek your understanding and co-operation to leave your instrument with us and collect in due time.

We will continue to offer group and individual ukulele lessons online via Zoom.
 All face-to-face lessons will be limited to individual lessons only.

In line with retail safety guidelines, we will be implementing steps to keep our instruments sanitised as much as possible by requesting all customers entering the store to first sanitise their hands. UV-C light is used to sanitise our instruments daily after handling by customers.

Current regulations such as the wearing of mask, or face shield is still in force, our staff will continue to check their temperature daily and keep a high level of personal hygiene where possible.
